Inline Lever/Lever
A lever or lever door handle is a modern handle that can be used on new or replacement doors. This kind of door handle is available in a wide range of designs and finishes. A number of manufacturers offer this handle including Avocet, ERA, Fullex, Hoppe, Mila, Millenco & Yale.

The handle can be placed and angled to accommodate any user. The sprung lever is also adjustable to accommodate a wide range of locks. This is particularly beneficial in doors with smaller door frames where the cylinder is located further back. Lever Pad
A Lever Pad upvc door handle operates differently from lever-type handles on doors. These handle types are either operated by a single spindle or by two spindles, inline or offset. They are usually employed on UPVC doors with double glazing. They come in a variety of finishes and variations.
The handles are available in a variety of finishes, including White Chrome and Gold. The finish is compliant with BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 5 and is also resistant to corrosion, giving the handle a high degree of durability and performance for the intended use.
All UPVC levers for handles come with a spindle, screws, and can be fitted on a uPVC door. The backplate fixing centers of 211mm allow for a larger size of handle which can be beneficial when replacing a damaged or worn multi-point door lock mechanism. When choosing a replacement UPVC handle and spindle it is essential to match the PZ dimensions of both the multipoint lock and the uPVC door. This measurement is often called the handle centre or 'cylinder centres and is an essential aspect to match the appropriate handles.
Once you have decided on the proper PZ size and the correct PZ size, you must make sure that the push and lever pads are designed to fit the American with Disabilities Act compliant handles that you need for your door. These are typically round or square with an internal lever and an external push pad.

Euro Cylinder
Cylinder locks are typically found on uPVC doors, but can also be used on other types of door. The cylinder lock operates by a key which unlocks the cylinder's casing. The case is then able to reveal pins that can be aligned with the pins in the lock, and permit them to turn the revolving camera, thereby opening the door. Euro Cylinders are available with up to six pins. Internal and external doors require different levels of security.
The selection of a cylinder is essential. It depends on the type of use your doors and handles will receive. External doors, for instance, should be fitted with cylinders that are more secure and internal doors can be secured using a standard cylinder. In addition, some cylinders have extra features that increase security even more, like anti-drill and anti-bump characteristics.
To make sure that the euro cylinder is the right size for your door, it must be measured accurately. The cylinder should be measured from the screw hole in the center to the ends of the cylinder. This includes the thumb turn, should there be one. This is a more frequent type of attack on cylinders, where the break line in the lock is smashed with a special tool to break the front of the cylinder to allow the door to open. Spring Cassette
The spring cassette is located inside the base of your door handle's backplate, supplying a spring-loaded solution that returns your multipoint lock handles to their normal position after using. There was a time when handles did not have a spring integrated into them, and without it they are more likely to slide or 'drop' once the locking mechanism is disengaged. Adding this simple component is one of the most effective ways to fix this, and is an effective way to keep your doors made of upvc from becoming stuck in an open or closed position, since they aren't always simple to close manually.
These spring cassettes were designed to be used with sprung multipoint locks. They will not fit unsprung handles and you'll need to cut a hole into your backplate in order for them to fit. (Please look at the image for a detailed diagram). These cassettes can be used as a replacement to broken or missing cassettes on the backplate of uPVC door handles. They are sold as one unit. They have a square-cut out that can accommodate an 8mm shaft.
